In a disturbing development, a West Papua resident was kidnapped from her own house and raped, her shopfront looted.

Last Monday, 30 October at about 7:30 pm local time, the first wave of attacks started. Three members of the West Papua separatist group entered through a shopfront of the victim's house and forcefully kidnapped the matriarch of the family. Faced with three well-armed intruders, the husband could not resist and watched his dear wife leave the house against her will.

The intruders then took the woman to a nearby village of Utikini and raped her repeatedly.

At around 8 pm local time, a group of 20 West Papua separatist members carried out the second wave of attacks against the unarmed and innocent civilians.

The group attacked the shopfront and looted the goods.

After two hours of the kidnapping, local villagers found the woman unconscious without wearing her underwear. Villagers took the woman to the woman's family house.

The police is investigating the criminal incident.

The attacks, kidnapping and rape come after a police officer was killed by the separatist group just last week.

As reported by ABCMelanesia, the group, locally led by Sabinur Walker attacked the police sergeant who was on routine patrol in a hilly region of Sangket, Papua.

The attacks went on for three days near a U.S.-owned gold and copper mine in Indonesia's easternmost province of Papua. The armed separatist group killed one officer and wounded six others.

Joe Hatch, an American national working for Freeport was reported to have suffered a gunshot wound.

Papua police spokesman A. Mustofa Kamal said that on Monday, 23 October 2017, the armed group shot and wounded four police officers.

The Associated Press reported that the assailants shot officers just moments after putting the body of officer Berry Pratama in the ambulance.

Sources reveal that Benny Wenda, the leader of the United Liberation Movement for West Papua (ULMWP) was behind the vicious attacks.

Over the years, the ULMWP together with armed separatist group in West Papua have waged a brutal campaign against West Papuan civilians, government and security officers.

The ULMWP is led by Benny Wenda, a fugitive wanted in connection to the murder of West Papuans Petrus Epaa and Markus Padama in Papua in December 2000.

The ULMWP, which claims as the rightful government of West Papua, routinely direct its armed wing in West Papua including the West Papua National Liberation Army (WPNLA) and the Purom Okinam Wenda Group to kill and terrorize the residents of West Papua. This is a strategy to stoke fear and coerce support from the West Papuan people.

West Papua and Papua are two easternmost provinces of Indonesia that enjoy robust and functioning democracies that routinely elect West Papuan into top government and legislative posts.

Some selected acts of murders widely attributed to the ULMWP (or its affiliated groups) and its armed group includes:
  • 6 civilians and police officers killed in Wasior, June 2001;
  • 3 police officers killed in Lanny Jaya, November 2012;
  • 1 health worker killed in Puncak Jaya, July 2013;
  • 2 police officers killed in Lanny Jaya, July 2014;
  • 1 priest killed in Namuniweja Village, November 2015;
  • 4 road workers killed in Sinak & Mulia, March 2016;
  • 2 teacher and road worker killed in Puncak Jaya, August-September 2016

In December 1996, the Papuan separatist group abducted 26 person in Mapenduma. Fifteen were released, but 11 researchers from the multi-national Lorentz 95 Expedition were held captive. The hostages, four Britons, five Indonesians and two Dutch were held hostage for four months from 8 January to 15 May 1996.

The ICRC reported:

Among the hostages was Martha Klein, who was three months pregnant when she was captured.

In a daring and surprising raid, Indonesian special forces freed the hostage. Two Indonesians were killed during the operation: Matheis Lasembu, an ornithologist and Navy Panekenan, a biologist. Five Army officers were killed when their helicopted crashed in jungle of Geselama, Papua.

The two hostages bled to death after being struck with machetes by Kelly Kwalik, the leader of the hostage-takers and a close confidant of Benny Wenda.

BREAKING NEWS: SOLOMON ISLANDS CRISIS DEEPENS

After mass resignation of ministers, PM Sogavare faces a motion of no-confidence when Parliament resumes next Monday.
Honiara, Solomon Islands
ABCMelanesia

Prime Minister of Solomon Islands, Manasseh Sogavare

Over the past few days, nine ministers, including Deputy Prime Minister Manasseh Maelanga resigned. Among those who have jumped the sinking ship are former PM Danny Phillip and Snyder Rini.

The defectors accuse Sogavare's government of corruption and nepotism and that it has lost trust in the PM's leadership. Radio New Zealand reports that Robson Djokovic, the nephew of Mr Sogavare has exercised enormous power and influence as the cabinet's chief of staff.

A majority of MPs plan to fire Mr Sogavare in a vote of no-confidence next Monday, 6 November.

The MPs and the defecting ministers has no more confidence in the Democratic Coalition for Change, the government's political party.

Mr Rini, the former Fisheries Minister had this to say about Mr Sogavare:

"He (PM Sogavare) changed his approach. He was diverting from our main policies, and he has listened too much to the outsiders, instead of listening to us ministers. So that's why I don't have any confidence with him, and why I resigned."

This development comes as news broke that Mr Sogavare abruptly an anti-corruption bill. A law that would have enabled authorities to enforce anti-corruption measures more effectively.

The revolt coincides with a planned visit to Solomon Islands this week by the President of Taiwan, Dr Tsai Ing-wen. Taiwan is a large donor to the government of Mr Sogavare.

Money from Taiwan has in the past found its way into the pocket of Mr Sogavare.

Former Deputy Prime Minister of Solomon Islands Douglas Ete delivered this blunt fact:

"In 2015, Taiwan gave ten million US dollars to the government of Sogavare. Sogavare used this money to bribe and co-opt his political allies and foes. About six million of it was used to bribe fifty MPs. Less than USD700k was allocated for education and development. Sogavare himself pocketed close to one million US dollars."

Sogavare, who was revealed to be a dual-national of both Solomon Islands and PNG, bought two luxurious properties at Henderson on the eastern outskirts of Honiara, the capital of Solomon Islands using the illicit money.

Many Pacific political analysts have come to the conclusion that Sogavare's views on West Papua is strongly motivated by his desire to preserve his political future.

"Look, Manasseh Sogavare has been subject to many many votes of no confidence. He rampantly abuses his power and swindle state funds for his own personal gain. Add to that, under his lead, Solomon Islands experienced negative economic growth of eight percent, high unemployment and over-dependency on foreign aid."

The analyst further observed Sogavare's worsening relations with Australia and China, traditionally two of the largest foreign donors to Melanesian countries.

"Faced with that kind of political pressure, financial problems and worsening international relations, Sogavare way out was one to accept money from Taiwan and two keep stoking regional conflict with the issue of West Papua." added the analyst.

Papua and West Papua are legally and internationally recognised provinces of Indonesia.

The government of Solomon Islands have been found to commit many human rights abuses. The BBC reported that between 1997 and 2003, 100 people died and 20,000 people displaced on Guadalcanal. The Isatabu Freedom Movement is also seeking to split from the Solomon Islands.

JUST IN: WEST PAPUA HOLDS DISASTER RISK REDUCTION MONTH

Plan to prepare West Papuans for disasters and sustainable development

Pacific Media Centre reports that Indonesia's National Disaster Mitigation Agency (BNPB) is holding the 2017 Disaster Risk Reduction Month series of events in four areas of West Papua.

Disaster risk reduction efforts need to be understood as investments to sustain development plans rather than mere budget expenditures, says Indonesia’s National Disaster Mitigation Agency (BNPB) head Willem Rampangilei.
Rampangilei added that the Nawacita (Nine Priorities) programme and the 2015-2019 National Medium Term Development Plan (RPJMN) document emphasise disaster management, particularly disaster risk reduction into national to local development planning, reports Netral News.
“The objective of the plan is to protect the economic growth centers from the threat of disaster so as to ensure the sustainability of development,” Rampangilei said.
In the RPJMN document, the government set the priority of 136 regencies/municipalities as the center of high-risk economic growth.
Disaster risk reduction would increase resilience so that it did not significantly affect the development process, Rampangilei said.

One of the disaster risk reduction efforts was by lowering the risk index of disaster at the centres of economic growth.
In 2016, BNPB together with the government and other stakeholders, lowered the disaster risk index by 15.98 percent. In 2019, the disaster risk index is targeted to fall by 30 percent, according to the RPJMN.
Rampangilei said it was vital to strengthen government and community understanding of disaster risk reduction activities as an investment for resilience.
Expected investments include building of joint awareness, dialogue and networking among stakeholders involved in disaster risk reduction activities.

Indonesia also sent a US$5 million package of assistance to Fiji after the country was struck by typhoon Winston in 2016. The assistance package includes a team of Indonesian engineers from the Indonesian Defence Force. The engineers helped to rebuild the Queen Victoria School (QVS).  The Fiji Times reported Mr Sitiveni Rabuka, the forme prime minister of Fiji said to the 100 men from the Indonesian Defence Force:
"Thank you for coming here to help us rebuild the school which we hope and pray to continue to produce leaders that will be able to march forward with the pace of development going on around the world,"

BREAKING NEWS: VANUATU IN CRISIS AS MINISTER RALPH REGENVANU LOSE CONFIDENCE AND SEEK COMMUNIST-STYLE SOLUTION

Plot to divide and conquer Melanesian countries then transform it to socialist utopia.

6 October 2017
Port Vila, Vanuatu
ABCMelanesia

Ralph Regenvanu, Vanuatu's Minister for Lands speaking at the "Vanuatu brighter future under SOCIALISM" forum, Port Vila, 4 October 2017

Sources reveal plot of the United Liberation Movement for West Papua (ULMWP) to divide Melanesian countries, foment rebellion and install socialist government.

Behind the façade of the likes of Benny Wenda, the spokesperson of the group, lies a tightly guarded dark secret.

Sources disclosed a conversation between Wenda, Octavianus Mote (Secretary-General of the ULMWP), Charlot Salwai Tabimasmas (PM of Vanuatu) and Ralph Regenvanu (Minister for Lands of Vanuatu).

"We have to consolidate our movement, the government of Vanuatu is the only one not corrupted by the capitalist pigs. That means fomenting rebellion in places like Guadalcanal, Bouganville and New Caledonia."

The revelation comes after setbacks suffered by the group. The UN recently rejected a document handed by the ULMWP purportedly claiming to contain millions of signatures petitioning for the independence of West Papua.

Respected political analysts and historians unanimously agree that:

"West Papua and Papua are two provinces of Indonesia that historically has been administered by the Majapahit Kingdom in the 13th century that ruled most of what is now Indonesia. In 1969, the United Nations reaffirmed West Papua as part of Indonesia."

Another setback for the group was the recent revelation of the illicit affair of the group's lawyer Jennifer Robinson with Seumas Milne, as reported by The Sun.

Ms Robinson is the interlocutor for the group's relations with socialist leaders worldwide.

She has arranged meetings between ULMWP executives with the likes of Hugo Chavez of Venezuela in 2006, Jeremy Corbyn the Labour leader in the United Kingdom in 2016 and 2017, left-leaning MPs in Australia and New Zealand and so on.

Johnny Koanapo, the Parliamentary Secretary for the PM of Vanuatu agreed with Sato Kilman, former PM and Opposition leader. Koanapo said:

"PM Charlot Salwai Tabimasmas has no principle when it comes to international relations. He has zero credibility and trust even within his own supporters and public."

Charlot Salwai Tabimasmas, the Prime Minister of Vanuatu in an official photograph, 2017

Ralph Regenvanu is leading the international campaigns to turn Melanesian countries into socialist heaven.

"Look, capitalism has failed for us Melanesian countries. For over 30 years, what did we get with Adam Smith experiment? No growth. High unemployment. High poverty. Lots of corruption. Bad healthcare. Bad education. Socialism is the answer to all those ills."

Echoing Karl Max, he further said that "We must use democracy on our way to socialism."

Benny Wenda, is a wanted fugitive. He was the mastermind for the 2000 fatal attacks and murder of West Papuans Petrus Epaa and Markus Padama in Abepura, Papua. He escaped to PNG and then to the United Kingdom where he now lives.

Benny Wenda ordered the murders of police and innocent civilians. Top left: Wenda's armed group. Top right and above right: the remains of police officer and a charred body of a civilian. Above left: burned police station in West Papua

PM Tabimasmas, Regenvanu, Wenda and Mote are targeting the Melanesian countries of Solomon Islands, PNG & Bouganville, Fiji, New Caledonia and the Indonesian provinces of West Papua and Papua for their socialist agenda.

The Aboriginal nation of Australia, another Melanesian race, was also targeted but it was deemed too difficult to convert.

Adam Smith must be rolling in his grave.

BREAKING NEWS: WEST PAPUA CELEBRITY LAWYER CAUGHT IN SEX SCANDAL

Jennifer Robinson seen canoodling with UK Labour's married spin doctor Seumas Milne. A string of troubles plaguing the West Papua group.

The blonde barrister was seen fondling with Seumas Milne in a five-star London hotel last July

In another blow for the West Papua separatist, the group's chief lawyer Jennifer Robinson was caught making out with Seumas Milne in a five-star London hotel.

The Sun reported that Milne, the spin doctor for UK Labour party and its leader Jeremy Corbyn, is married to his wife of 25 years Cristina Montanari and they live in the couple's £2million west London mansion.

Miss Robinson's father, Terry Robinson said that his daughter was just being friendly.

The Daily Mail Australia wrote that a witness to the illicit affair of Miss Robinson with Mr Milne told the Guido Fawkes blog:

"They were there for a good hour or so. They were very hands on, full on heavy petting."

Milne with Robinson in a five-star London hotel. "They were very hands on, full on heavy petting." described a witness.

The revelation is another bad news for the West Papua separatist group. The group's has been making one self-inflicting wound after another.

In the second week of September 2017, the group's spokesperson, Benny Wenda claimed to have handed the United Nations a petition. The Chairman of the Decolonization Committee later issued a strong rebuke and said that:

Benny Wenda abused and manipulated his name for West Papua separatist group's own Propaganda.

Detik News reported that in March of 2017, 155 West Papua separatist armed fighters surrendered their weapons and pledged their allegiance to the Indonesian Republic. This comes following a string of other surrenders by the group's armed wing.

155 Members of the West Papua armed separatist group surrendered to authorities in March 2017

On the order of Benny Wenda and executives of the United Liberation Movement for West Papua (ULMWP), the armed wing has been reported to use brutal tactics. These tactics included the murders of teachers, priests and road workers to terrorise authorities and people of West Papua.

The ULMWP executives have also been reported to have been engaged in ferocious altercations. Lewis Praai and Rex Rumakiek, two of the group's top brass recently sparred in Facebook.

Mr Praai accused the secretary general of the ULMWP Octavianus Mote to have acted alone in the recent UN failed stunt and wanted to hog all the limelight for himself and his ally, Benny Wenda.

With a string of troubles on their plate, the ULMWP certainly did not need their star blonde barrister to attract attention for the wrong reasons.

Miss Robinson, who lead Julian Assange legal team is also pal with Amal Clooney, the wife of Hollywood heart-throb George. She was seen attending Amal and George Clooney lavish wedding in Venice in 2014.

Prior to her intimate affair with Milne, the high-flying celebrity lawyer was already cozying up with Labour's central committee. She congratulated Mr Milne after the married Labour member became Labour's top spin doctor.

"This is brilliant news for @jeremycorbyn. Congrats @SeumasMilne!"

She tweeted a congratulatory message when Mr Milne became Labour's top spin doctor.

Mr Milne, a father of two and married to advertising director Montanari, worked for The Guardian before joining Mr Corbyn as his and Labour's ultra-powerful spin doctor.

The Times reported that Ms Robinson was stopped from boarding a flight at Heathrow Airport in 2012 on the grounds that she was on the UK's watchlist.

In an interview in 2011, Ms Robinson described herself as 'passionate' and 'infinitely curious'.
